Surf camp Andalucia
Surf camp Andalucia is located in the lovely village of Conil de la Frontera, in the Cádiz region along the Costa de la Luz, in the South West of Spain.
The region receives a consistent Atlantic Swell and is a suitable surfing destinations for both beginners and advanced surfers. Some of the key benefits with this surfing destination is that it receives more than 3000 hours of sunshine per year and at the same time is fairly uncrowded.
Another benefit is that the area offer surfing at remote, widespread beaches with white sand and crystal clear water, unseen in other European surfing destinations. The exotic and remote atmosphere sometimes makes you feel you are not in Europe at all.
Conil is a typical fishing-village of the type found in abundance along this delightful coastline. As fishing and the sea has played a major role in the history of this village for centuries you will find some of the most delectable fish restaurants with very reasonable prices. If you are staying here during the summer months you can also enjoy a very vibrant night life. The staff at the camp will make sure you get integrated in the local community by introducing you to the town and culture.
Just 10 min drive from the surf camp is the beach of El Palmar, where most surf lessons take place. This is considered one of the most beautiful surf beaches in Europe, but is still fairly uncrowded.
If you are into exploring the area further it only takes a short drive to go clubbing in the city of Cadiz, tasting some Sherry in a bodega in Jerez or mingling with the apes in Gibraltar.
Andalucia has a hot Mediterranean climate with consistent sunshine and very little rain. In the summer months (July, August and September) the air temperature usually stays between 25ºC and 32ºC, in the winter months (December, January & February)it is colder (around 15 ºC) and in the spring and autumn the temperatures stays around 20ºC.
During the high season months of June - September we can only accept bookings for full weeks, with arrivals/departures on sundays.Surf school

Arrival
How to get here
Arrival to the area is easily done by air trough the airport in Jeréz or the airport in Malaga.
You can fly to Jeréz (airport code: XRY) with a regular airline as well as low fare company, Ryanair (from London and Frankfurt). If you arrive at Jeréz it is easy to catch the train to San Fernando (~1 hour) and then catch the bus to Conil de la Frontera (~1 hour).
If you can’t find a flight to Jeréz, flying to Malaga (airport code : AGP) can be a good alternative. From Malaga airport you can either take the train to San Fernando or a bus straight to Conil de la Frontera(~4 hour).
